FOGG COMMUNITY ADDOPTION PROGRAM
LCHS EcoVision needs community organizations or individuals that would be interested in adopting one of the following summer projects:
We would also plan one or two social events to celebrate our successes.

- LCHS Ecovision Members
- adapting a pre-planted garden bed
- planting your own garden bed
- maintaining a set of fruit trees
- caring for a bed of flowers
- feeding tilapia fish,
- raising herbs in an Earthbox
- taking care of the greenhouse for the summer.
We would also plan one or two social events to celebrate our successes.
BENEFITS:
- Shared access to fresh vegetables, fish and fruit.
- The satisfaction that you are helping others (students can't take care of the gardens during the summer)
- Production of food that is being used in school & community programs.
- The satisfaction of producing healthy food for a zero mile diet (no chemicals or greenhouse gas emissions from transportation)
- No cost except your time (Even the tools, seeds, soil and fertilizer are free)
- Building a community

- Funding (most grants require community involvement)
- Our agriculture program
- Access to healthy food for our school and community
